Recovering Suppressed Resonance Frequency by Bias Lines in Reconfigurable FSS

نویسندگان

چکیده

In reconfigurable frequency selective surface, FSS, bias lines can suppress a resonant frequency. This is disadvantage, as it reduces FSS potential application. this paper, procedure to recover the suppressed described. A based on four arms star geometry considered and its reconfigurability achieved by use of varactors, for which x polarization resonance. So, dipoles are added unit cell recovering order validate proposed procedure, using varactor SMV1231 (0. 466 pF ≤ Cv < 2. 35 pF) was fabricated characterized. Numerical measured results shown good agreement, confirming that preserved resonance recovered.

Recovering Causal Effects from Selection Bias

Controlling for selection and confounding biases are two of the most challenging problems that appear in data analysis in the empirical sciences as well as in artificial intelligence tasks. The combination of previously studied methods for each of these biases in isolation is not directly applicable to certain non-trivial cases in which selection and confounding biases are simultaneously presen...

Reconfigurable Antenna : Narrowband Frequency Reconfigurable Antenna

Reconfigurable antennas have attracted a lot of attention especially in future wireless communication systems. Superior features such as reconfigurable capability, low cost, multi-purpose functions and size miniaturization have given reconfigurable antennas advantage to be integrated into a wireless systems. In this chapter, two types of reconfigurable antennas are discussed. First, frequency r...

Broadening of resonance lines by charged dislocations

It is shown that the random electric fields of charged dislocations in insulators should cause appreciable broadening of sharp resonance lines such as spin-resonance signals. The degree of broadening is very sensitive to the screening of the dislocations by charged point defects. Since the shape of the inhomogeneously broadened resonance line monitors the distribution of the internal fields, th...
